Jaune Narratif was created for the 40th anniversary of the New Cinema Festival in Montreal, held in autumn 2011, and showcased at the festival's headquarters during off-events. This project is a reinterpretation of the graphic signature adopted for the 2011 edition of the festival, transforming the iconic yellow line into a metaphor for storytelling and the concept of a video timeline.
By appropriating and subverting the yellow line, the piece explores the unfolding of a story in a continuous flow, inviting viewers to engage with the narrative in both time and space. The installation offers a contemplative experience, bridging visual art and cinematic techniques.
